Message from the Editor-in-Chief
By: Victoria Man
As the founder and editor-in-chief of the Journal of Psychology & Law, I am proud to present the first issue of this journal's second volume. I extend my deepest gratitude to our contributors, editorial board, and marketing team, whose dedication has played a crucial role in successfully publishing JPL's new volume.
This issue features four papers that explore the complex intersections of business, technology, psychology, and the law. From examining the psychology of corporate social (ir)responsibility to analyzing the psycho-legal implications of facial recognition, each paper in this issue illustrate the meaningful ways that psychology and law inform each other.
Thank you to our authors, Bianca Di Stefano, Mindy Fan, Ciara Harte, and Trisha Shinde, for their rigorous research and thoughtful scholarship. Thank you to our deputy editors, Nathan Li and Anastasia Markandonis, for supporting every stage of this publication, from developing paper topics to conducting first reads to guiding writers through revisions. Thank you to our copy editors, Chloe Gergi, Natalie Goldsmith Hernandez, Jasmine Muruve, and Malena Villani, whose attention to grammar, style, and citation accuracy ensured the quality and clarity of each piece. Thank you to our marketing officer, Vilina Rughani, for their creative outreach and social media efforts, which help our work reach a wider audience. Each person played an indispensable role in completing this issue, and I feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside such dedicated and enthusiastic individuals.
